POSEIDON LOTUS 8000 BRIDGE SAW
The LOTUS 8000 is controlled by an intelligent HMI unit with control panel with a Touch Screen Color Display. Pages shown include axis positions and destinations, cutting programs, profile programming and alarm diagnostics with every function and push buttons displayed state.
The basic software is for sawing slabs. The expansion software “Profile 1.0” is for profiling Moulds or Veneers.
The LOTUS is extremely heavy duty. The technical features guarantee long life to the machine and low maintenance requirement.
Guides are design to avoid tilting and jumping of the spindle, which eliminates any diamond blade deviation during the cutting cycle at a high speed.
The tilting blade system works with closed lubricated bearings, it is maintenance free.
All the table joints and oil piston unit are equipped with closed lubricated parts and are water proof and maintenance free.
The machine is equipped with a mobile push-buttons control. This allows the operator to position the beam and the table to the laser-beam choice of the first cut.
The table can be locked at any position from 0 to 360° and has a tilting field from 0° to 87°. It is equipped with safety features for anti-collision with the beam and maximum tilting position safety sensor for the operator.
The maximum load is 1700 kg for a pack of 8 slabs of 2 cm thick.
Types of Cutting Cycles
1. The first cut can be done with the table at any position from 0 to 360°.
2. Single or multiple cuts of rectangular element (floor tiles) in automatic cycles. Polygonal elements can be cut with manual cycles.
3. Cutting of rectangular elements with Automatic Combine-Cut. The sequence is:
1st The machine performs a series of longitudinal cuts.
2nd The table automatically rotates by 90° and the machine proceeds with the transversal cuts.
4. Single cut with blade tilted at any position from 0 to 90°. Multiple cuts with blade tilted from 0 to 85°.
5. Cut of veneers up to 280 mm(11″) of thickness.
6. Single and multiple profile cuttings are all in automatic cycles. The profiles drawings can be loaded with a USB key. The operator can also generate new profiles on the touch-screen profile program.
7. Single profile “spatula” finishing for undulate shapes is included in the profile software.
